More Than Candidate Screening

From Defining the Role to Making the Hire—and What Comes Next.

Bruno helps you define the role, evaluate who can do it, interview the strongest candidates, and give the person you hire a clearer path to succeed once they start.

The core of Bruno is Hiring Intelligence: creating a more structured way to evaluate every applicant against your criteria and giving your managers better information when it is time to meet them.

The Hiring Gap

Resumes Have Gotten Better. Hiring Decisions Haven’t Gotten Easier.

A polished resume is only the starting point. Bruno gives applicants for the same role a consistent first-round process, so your managers can focus on the evidence before investing time in live interviews.

01 — Resume Overload

Look Beyond the Resume.

Evaluate what candidates say about the work, alongside their experience and qualifications.

02 — Management Time

Move Past Repetitive First Rounds.

Let applicants complete structured video interviews before your managers schedule a conversation.

03 — Consistency

Use the Same Bar for the Role.

Give applicants the same predetermined questions and evaluate their responses against the role’s criteria.

The Bruno Way

From Applicant Pool to Shortlist.

Bruno handles much of the repetitive work at the top of the hiring funnel so your managers can spend their time where human judgment matters most.

01
DEFINE THE ROLE

Tell Bruno What Success Looks Like.

Bring your existing job description or let Bruno help you establish the role. Define the responsibilities, outcomes, required knowledge, experience, expectations, and criteria that matter. That becomes the foundation Bruno uses to evaluate applicants.

02
BRING APPLICANTS INTO BRUNO

Keep the Recruiting Channels You Already Use.

Bruno creates a unique application link for the position. Use it with Indeed, LinkedIn, your careers page, recruiting campaigns, or wherever applicants already find you.

03
STRUCTURED FIRST-ROUND INTERVIEW

Let Candidates Interview on Their Time.

Applicants complete a structured, on-demand video interview. Candidates applying for the same position receive the same predetermined questions and record their responses individually. No scheduling back-and-forth. No manager required for the first conversation. No calendar coordination simply to determine whether a candidate deserves another interview.

04
BRUNO EVALUATES

Evaluate Every Applicant Against the Role.

Bruno analyzes the candidate information available, including resume history when relevant and the answers provided during the structured interview. Evaluation can consider role-specific knowledge, understanding, relevant experience, depth, context, effort, and quality of response. Bruno can also evaluate answers from different functional perspectives when the role calls for it. It is structured candidate intelligence.

05
GET THE SHORTLIST

Meet Fewer People. Have Better Conversations.

Candidates who meet the established evaluation threshold move to the Shortlist. A recommendation does not mean “Hire this person.” It means: Based on the information available, this candidate warrants further human consideration.

And if nobody meets the bar, Bruno should not pretend otherwise. Bruno cannot control the quality of the applicant pool. It can help you understand the quality of the applicants who entered it.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Is Bruno IQ an ATS or job board?

No. Bruno Core is a hiring intelligence platform. For Core and Enhanced Screening, you bring applicants from your existing recruiting channels. Managed Workforce includes finding and placing a Philippines-based employee, screened through Bruno IQ, followed by ongoing support. You set their day-to-day priorities.

Do we have to use Bruno to create our job descriptions, KPIs, or SOPs?

No. If you already have them, bring them with you. Bruno’s role-building tools are there when you need them, not because you have to replace processes that already work.

Does Bruno decide who we should hire?

No. Bruno organizes the evidence so your hiring team can decide who to consider further, and gives your team better information for subsequent interviews. The final decision remains human.

What happens if nobody who applies meets our criteria?

Then Bruno should not manufacture a recommendation simply because the role needs to be filled. Bruno evaluates the applicants who enter the process. It cannot control who applies.

Does Bruno guarantee better hires or lower turnover?

No. Bruno is designed to create a more structured, consistent, and informed hiring process. We do not guarantee applicant quality, retention, or employment outcomes.

Can Bruno support any kind of position?

Bruno can be used across a wide range of roles. Its value becomes particularly apparent anywhere the company wants a more structured way to evaluate applicants before investing significant human time in interviews.

Can Bruno support both domestic and international hiring?

Yes. Bruno Core includes domestic hiring and international hiring in the Philippines, without a separate charge to access both. International hiring is currently limited to the Philippines. For example, you can use Bruno to evaluate Filipino virtual assistants and other Philippines-based talent against your role requirements.

How do roles and candidate screenings affect Bruno Core pricing?

Bruno Core costs $497 per month per operating location, or $397 per month billed annually ($4,764 per year), saving $1,200 compared with 12 monthly payments. There are no per-role fees or Command Center per-seat fees. Each separately operated branch or franchise territory requires its own subscription, even when locations share an owner or hiring team. Your subscription includes 200 completed candidate screenings per month, shared across every role at your location. Additional screenings are automatically available at $1 each, with clear usage reporting and advance alerts before additional screening charges.

What does the $1,000 Enhanced Screening service purchase?

Enhanced Screening is a Bruno Core add-on priced at $1,000 per defined hiring campaign for one role at one licensed location. Bruno’s team reviews the applicant pool and conducts additional screening interviews to present up to five vetted candidates who meet your role requirements. The five-candidate limit applies to the shortlist delivered, not the number of interviews conducted. You receive written findings to guide your final interviews, and your team makes every hiring decision.

What is included in Managed Workforce pricing?

Managed Workforce starts at $997 every 4 weeks for fractional support and $2,497 every 4 weeks for a dedicated person, with a one-time enrollment of $1,500 or $2,000. It applies only to Philippines-based candidates screened through Bruno IQ. It includes finding and placing the employee, Bruno Core, employment, payroll, tax, and benefits administration, and ongoing onboarding, performance, reporting, and continuity support. You set their day-to-day priorities. The price is all-inclusive: employee compensation, our ongoing support, payroll, taxes, benefits, and all employment costs are included. Your proposal confirms the total price for each person.

What is Command Center?

Command Center is the workforce hub included with every Bruno subscription. It can support time tracking, time-off requests, HR requests, training resources, documents, and other workforce functions. Access is included for the entire team at each licensed operating location, with no per-seat fees. Each additional operating location requires its own Bruno Core subscription.
